Audit of Heritage sites within the Shire
This project was funded under DSRD's Developing Regional Resources Program. Victoria Design and Management Pty Ltd were contracted as consultants to complete this project.
In September 2004 they produced their Draft Report to Council with a series of recommendations. Implementation of the majority of these recommendations including a heritage tourism website, brochures, advertising, promotion and signage were implemented from 2005 to 2007.
Additionally, the concept of accredited trained volunteer heritage guides will be reviewed.
