Business Coaching Program
Business Coaching
The BEC business coaching service is for local and relocating small business. It includes assistance with business information, local contacts, research, analysis, feasibility studies, business planning and decision making. Whilst a fee-for-service payment normally applies, this is waived for businesses involved in the BEC's Business Incubator, New Start, Small Business Growth and Country Growth Strategy programs. The Snowy Enterprise Centre business coach is Ron Wiggins.
From time to time the services of contract business coaches are retained for specialised training programs.
What do local businesses say of the BEC's foundation Manager/Business Coach:
Kris Laird started her Jindabyne-based employment business SnowyStaff in 2002. She says, "John helps you put a different perspective on your business and opportunity."
Cooma-based Vince Wichta has developed a number of business ideas. He says, "I believe John's strength is he gets you to consider options and has you think through things in a different way."
Allan Burchall has run his transport and car wrecking business in Cooma for 20 years. He says, "John used his skills in business planning facilitation to guide us through the process in an uncomplicated way."
Bombala-based Monaro Native Nursery was established by Michael and Annie Platts. The BEC assisted them to access a government grant and complete a Business Plan. Michael says, "The grant was gained as a direct result of John's planning assistance and help in reviewing our marketing."
