Ron has lived and worked in the Snowy Monaro area for over 25 years. His experience spreads across both the private and public sectors. He holds a Dip. Human Resource Management (Monash) specializing in training and development (T & D) and has further qualifications in Work Place Training & Assessment, Small Business Management, Total Quality Management, and Information Technology. He has participated in the NEIS program and was one of the earlier Incubator Tenants of the Snowy Enterprise Centre and consequently has a very good understanding of the needs of rural based small to medium businesses.
During the past 15 years he has been working successfully on human resource development (HRD) projects in the Australian, Pacific and South East Asian regions. His most recent projects include a long term HRD project in Papua New Guinea and organizational reviews for Kakadu, Uluru-Kata Tjuta and Booderee National Parks. He has extensive expertise in training needs analysis and the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of capacity building and T & D programs.
